"Paulien, with her slightly recessive, delicate-yet crisp technique; a softer more languid Edith Piaf..."
"The musicians--elegant, unforced, making every phrase count..."

"This is stellar musicianship: the sort of singing and playing that encourages many repeat listenings....."

Live (2019)
“LIVE” is Paulien’s third album and the first live concert recording. The musicians Paulien has assembled pay homage to the Great American Song Book and classic French chanson, resulting in the perfect blend of jazz and popular French music of the twentieth century. The songs are presented in their French and English versions with contemporary arrangements. The musicians are not just backup for the vocals, but are integral to the performance as a whole, bringing a fresh perspective on familiar songs. Paulien (vocals)
Damien Groleau (piano) Royce Campbell (guitar) David Drubin (drums) Chris Dammann (bass) Chez Moi (2015)
With her second US release, Paulien brings a richly textured canvas from which a blend of Edith Piaf and Jacques Brel standards melds seamlessly with more contemporary rhythms. This album is an exciting, dynamic showcase of French/American songs from the past to the present. Paulien (vocals)
Matty Metcalfe (accordion) Rick Olivarez (guitar) Tony Nalker (piano) Bob Bowen (bass) Tony Martucci (drums) Paulien (2007)
